The CCF/FCMA is thrilled to announce its next Annual General Meeting (AGM), which will take place on July 31st at 2pm Eastern Time. The upcoming gathering will differ from our Annual Conference, as it will be held by teleconference. This allows all members equal opportunity to attend and participate in the business of the organization.
Representatives from CCF/FCMA Member Organizations across the country will present information about their activities, and the CCF/FCMA Committees will provide updates on their actions. Overall, it will be an opportunity to speak on behalf of individual craft artists, curators, students, gallery owners and all facets of the craft industry at this meeting.
A main topic of discussion will be the 2011-2012 CCF/FCMA Annual Report, highlighting the organization’s main achievements, future projects and financial statements. See here to view the Annual Report in English or French.
If you are interested in becoming a member of the CCF/FCMA, join your local craft council today! All members of the provincial and territorial craft councils across Canada are automatically members of the CCF/FCMA. Your individual membership is then represented by the Craft Councils at this meeting, and they report on our actions to you!
To become an Association Member, galleries, shops, schools, guilds and other organizations can contact the CCF/FCMA directly for more information. Email Maegen Black at: [email protected] for more details.
