We are excited to invite you to the 12th Annual CCF/FCMA Conference: Intersections & Interconnexions, coming this September 13th & 14th, 2017 in Burlington. Registration is now open!
Intersections & Interconnexions:
Exploring Craft Sector Collaboration
The CCF/FCMA sees the value in the craft community. It is our goal to create opportunities for craft organizations from across Canada to come together for discussion and networking. Through this conference, we will bring together ideas and individuals that can build a richer, more robust craft sector network in Canada. Representatives from craft councils, guilds, galleries, museums, artist run centres and educational institutions and more are all invited to take part in the engaging discussions, fantastic excursions, and more!
Sneak peak at this year’s itinerary!
At Intersections & Interconnexions, the CCF/FCMA will create an environment where craft sector participants are able to pose questions, share their ideas and concerns, and receive beneficial feedback from like-minded colleagues. By opening these dialogues, we can better understand organizational needs and collaborative approaches to aid in the success of the craft community’s projects and missions.
Travelling for the event? You’re not alone! Delegates from every province and territory are expected to attend. Accommodations for conference delegates are available at the Burlington Holiday Inn at a special rate of $109/night. Book your space and register for the conference today.

Biennale
Conference delegates are encouraged to extend their stay to participate in the Canadian Craft Biennale symposium, a two-day series of lectures, panels and exhibition openings running September 15th & 16th in Burlington and Toronto. The Biennale’s central topic is of great interest – exploring the role and significance of contemporary craft in Canada.
