Jean Johnson, The Grand Dame of Craft

With heavy hearts, the Canadian Crafts Federation / Fédération Canadienne des Métiers d’Art shares in the mourning of a beloved member of the Canadian Craft community, Jean Johnson.  A vivacious and determined supporter of craft, her astounding career spanned 65 years ofartistry, curating, arts administration, volunteering and so much more. Never lapsing in enthusiasm, Johnson inspired generations of craft artists and administrators to pursue their passions and to push boundaries.
