Get ready to join us for Hindsight/Foresight!

Tomorrow, four of Canada’s leading craft thinkers and practitioners will discuss pressing issues in craft. The evening includes presentations by ceramic artist Paul Mathieu, Jeweler/metal artist Kye Yeon Son, and furniture designer/maker Michael Fortune.  Each artist represents a different medium and a different perspective on the future of craft. Together, the speakers will debate and discuss the histories of craft in a moderated discussion by Charles Lewton-Brain.

The Canadian Crafts Federation is implementing Hindsight/foresight as an inaugural annual symposium in celebration of beautiful craftsmanship and inspiring artwork.

Hindsight/Foresight will be held Thursday October 18, at the National Gallery in Ottawa from 3pm to 7pm. For more information and to order tickets ($15): www.hindsightforesight.ca
