Connect to Canadian Craft from coast to coast to coast September 24th – 26th through the national Culture Days celebration! Alongside our cultural counterparts in dance, theater, music, film and other visual arts, Craft activities will be a large part of the thousands of events taking place in every region.
There’s something for everyone if you take a look. Interested in visiting a studio? The Gaudreau Fine Woodworking studio in Charlottetown, invites you to their open house! Want to get hands on? Take a class in glass bead making at TANK Studio in Toronto. Want to watch artists demonstrate their skills? Connect with the Richmond Potters Club at the Richmond Cultural Centre in British Columbia. Looking for something a little bigger? Check out the 250 meter long collaborative knit in Winnipeg, Manitoba: Knitting the Bridge.
There are plenty of events, including special projects by many provincial craft councils! Visit www.culturedays.ca (and search ‘craft’) to find out about more.
