The CCF/FCMA invites you to save the date for “Hindsight/Foresight”, our Annual Craft Conference and Symposium. Set for October 18th – 21st, 2012, in Ottawa, Ontario, events will include:

a Public Symposium featuring ceramic artist Paul Mathieu, metal artist Kye Yeon Son and moderator Herménégilde Chiasson, an award winning poet, playwright and visual artist

a National Networking Symposium, featuring guest speakers from funding agencies, advocacy associations, local arts groups and all the provincial and territorial Craft Councils

an advocacy session, where the CCF/FCMA will work with the national Craft community to discuss and determine the direction of proactive advocacy

a closed session for Executive Directors and high level staff of Provincial and Territorial Craft Councils, set to share information and ideas on regional activity and collaboration

meetings of the CCF/FCMA Executive Committee, Board of Directors and other Committees

social events in the Ottawa Craft Community, including a reception and artist talk at L.A. Pai Gallery and an exhibition by symposium speaker Paul Mathieu at the Ottawa School of Art
