The Canadian Crafts Federation (CCF/FCMA) is thrilled to announce a new national partnership with Lexus Canada. This collaboration will play a key role in Craft Year 2025, a nationwide celebration of Canadian craft.
As part of this partnership, Lexus Canada joins as the Presenting Sponsor of the touring exhibition Coast to Coast to Coast: Celebrating Canadian Craft. Organized by the CCF/FCMA, the exhibition showcases contemporary works selected by the provincial and territorial Craft Councils, representing the diversity and strength of craft across the country. With the support of Lexus, the tour will continue to reach new audiences at the Craft Council of British Columbia (CCBC) Gallery from October 9 to November 20, 2025. Previous stops in the exhibition tour included Montreal and Ottawa (read more about them here).
In addition, Lexus Canada is sponsoring two new national awards, each valued at $10,000, to provide meaningful financial support to outstanding Canadian craft artists. These awards will recognize both emerging makers whose fresh perspectives are shaping the future of craft, and established artists whose contributions demonstrate exceptional skill and influence. Full details on each award and its application processes will be shared in the coming weeks.
Together, these initiatives reflect Lexus Canada’s dedication to craftsmanship, eco-conscious design, and innovation, while advancing the Federation’s mission to elevate Canadian craft on both national and international stages. By combining networks and resources, the CCF/FCMA and Lexus hope to create new opportunities for craftspeople for years to come.
