The Canadian Crafts Federation’s President Deb Dumka has been invited to attend the Governor General’s Award ceremony in Visual and Media Arts. The event will be held in Ottawa on March 20^th, 2013.  The Right Honorable David Johnston will be presenting 8 awards in the visual arts including architecture, photography, independent film, video, audio and new media. The 2013 laureates will be announced on the 12^th of March. An exhibition will be organized by the National Gallery of Canada in collaboration with the Canada Council of the Arts. The exhibition opens March 22 and will be on till June 2013.
